Before you start drafting your campaign on Pinterest, you need to ensure that each market has a proper account set up. This is especially important for all new markets that are being onboarded.
Here are two key things that you need to launch your campaign successfully:
An established Pinterest ad account for each market within the Pinterest Global Alpro account.
A protected Pinterest board for each market.
HOW TO CREATE A PINTEREST AD ACCOUNT?
Each active Alpro market has its own Pinterest Ad Account. This is to ensure clear billing set up and smooth analytics.
In order to create a new ad account, do the following:
Select the tab Viewing: Alpro and click on “Create new ad account”.
Next, you should create an order line. Beforehand, your local digital brand manager should create a vendor. When this is done, under the “Ads” tab select “Billing”, go to “Order lines” and click on the red button “add order line”. Select “ongoing order line” and fill in the requested information.
If you have issues or questions regarding the account or billing set up, please reach out to our Pinterest Account Manager or contact the Pinterest for Business support team via this form.
HOW TO CREATE A PROTECTED BOARD
For each market, you will need a dedicated protected board that will host all pins created in the local language. Protected boards are not shown on our pinterest.com/alpro page publicly but anyone with the URL can view them. Pins on protected boards can be used for promoted campaigns. To create a protected board, you should reach out to our Pinterest account manager.
